UNDERSTAND • ORGANISE • ACT

Legal problems can be complicated.
Getting started should not be.

Describe what happened. ALA helps organise the facts, identify possible legal issues, prepare next steps and show when professional legal help may be needed.

ALA provides legal information and decision support, not a substitute for a lawyer, court, police, regulator or emergency service.

STEP 1

What happened?

By continuing, you acknowledge that ALA may use AI to assist with legal information. Important legal decisions should be verified with qualified professionals and authoritative sources.

ALA REPORT

Your legal navigation report

Preparing analysis…

STEP 2

Organise Evidence

1. TimelineList events in date order.
2. DocumentsContracts, letters, receipts, notices and official records.
3. CommunicationsRelevant emails, messages and correspondence.
4. PeopleParties, witnesses and professionals involved.
5. Outcome soughtState clearly what resolution you want.

ALA records file type, size and SHA-256 integrity checksum. Uploaded contents are not treated as proven facts merely because a file exists; users and professionals remain responsible for verifying relevance and authenticity.

STEP 3

Professional Handoff

Go to a professional with a clearer case.

ALA is designed to help you arrive with organised facts, evidence, questions and possible next steps—not to replace professional representation.

Generate an ALA analysis to calculate handoff readiness.

The case pack is generated in your browser from the facts, report, source links and evidence metadata in this session. Uploaded evidence files themselves are not embedded in the download. A prepared review request is stored privately and is not sent to any professional until you choose a real legal-aid or lawyer route.

PRIVATE CONTINUITY

Saved Matters

Resume a saved matter

Enter the Matter ID and Recovery Code that ALA gave you when the matter was saved.

How privacy works

ALA can save a matter without requiring an email address. Your Recovery Code is shown only when a new matter is created. ALA stores only its cryptographic hash. Keep the code somewhere safe; if you lose it, ALA cannot reveal the original code to you.

PRIVACY

Share only what is necessary

Privacy-by-design

Do not enter passwords, banking PINs, authentication codes or information that is not needed to understand your legal problem.

Minimum disclosureInitial legal navigation can remain pseudonymous. Identity should only be revealed when a lawful next step actually requires it.
Saved Matters without emailMatter ID + Recovery Code provide continuity without requiring a public identity account.
Private evidenceEvidence is stored outside the public web folder and tied to the authorised matter/session.
OneCloak bridgeArchitecture is design-ready but not yet connected. Future integration is limited to selective disclosure and secure professional handoff.

OneCloak will not be used to bypass court orders, lawful KYC/AML duties, emergency obligations or professional identity-verification requirements.

My Data & Privacy Controls

See which categories of private ALA data are associated with your current session/Saved Matter. You can request an export or a deletion review. Deletion is not automatic where legal, security, audit or dispute-retention obligations may apply.

OneCloak Privacy Preference

ALA is not connected to OneCloak yet. You can pre-set the minimum disclosure scopes you would allow in a future connection and revoke that preference at any time.
